Cave Host Steph

Cave Host – Steph

Steph lives in York and met Robbi and Nikki at a Holistic Festival. She knew right away she wanted to work at the new salt sanctuary. She enjoys helping people find healthy alternatives for self care.

She works full time and working at 1881 is where she spends some of her spare time—the staff and energy here are amazing.

Cave Host – Dawn

Dawn was looking for a fresh start when she was drawn to the cool chimney mural of a new business. She enjoys working in this beautiful space where she can see the stress leave everyone that comes in the door.

An avid reader, she also enjoys working on stained glass and reclaimed wood projects in her She Shed.

Cave Host – Terri

I always said that when I finally retired from working at a warehouse job, where I spent 16 years, I wanted a retirement job that I actually LIKED. Well, I found that job here on the 1881 team. It’s so nice working in an environment that is peaceful and without drama. I am also enjoying learning about the benefits of salt therapy and gemstones.

In my spare time, my husband and I run an online retail business, I’m teaching myself to quilt, I enjoy going to the gym to get healthier, and I enjoy reading.

I love hearing from and talking with our clients about their experiences, whether it’s their 1st time with us or their 10th. Everyone is always excited and cannot wait to return.

Cave Host – Thomas

Thomas is a believer in the body’s innate wisdom and ability to heal itself and that all one must do is provide the proper circumstances and environment to facilitate that process.  It’s for this reason he was drawn to 1881 Salt Sanctuary as well as his work as a Personal Trainer with a mind, body, spirit connection focus.  He is a writer, singer, and musician who loves swimming, especially in the ocean, where he feels deeply connected with and to the sea.

Cave Host – Julie

I am originally from York, but I grew up in the rural area of Spring Grove. I have primarily worked in Customer Service roles as I like helping people to learn about and being active in self-care. I enjoy being a part of the 1881 Salt Sanctuary team – it is a fun, relaxing, and rejuvenating place.

I love animals! I currently have a young German Shephard named, Titan, and 2 cats. Bubbie is my older lovable, and shy guy. While Oreo, is my younger adorable cat who acts a lot like a dog.
I really enjoy being in nature. So this entails taking my dog on nature walks, photography, gardening, swimming, biking, and exercising.

I hope to become more mindful, kind, and relaxed through holistic means.
